One of the most treasured games in the Burton household is a game as timeless as childhood itself - hide and seek.

From the very first count, little M and little F lean into their roles. Young F, brimming with excitement, stays close to his sister, holding back the urge to dash off in search.

There’s magic in every moment: the hushed whispers of hiding, the curious eyes of the seekers, the squeals of delight when the hiders are found, or the quiet pride of knowing exactly where to look.

This simple game stirs laughter, connection, and a kind of joy that’s hard to name. The parents join in with full hearts—part playmate, part witness—soaking in the shifting expressions and growing confidence of their children.

It’s a game I'm sure they’ll carry with them, in memory and in motion, for many years to come, and it was a joy to capture it in all the magic that it is for them.
